I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
