In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret sect.
The questline centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
